Dr. Pavelka was nominated for this award by US Representative Greg Steube. This prestigious award honors a professional whose efforts have had a significant impact on local, state, national or international public policy development and implementation that promotes dignity, respect, rights and services for victims of crime. Dr. Pavelka was honored to receive the award during the awards ceremony held on April 26, 2023 during Crime Victims Rights Week in Washington, DC.
