Dr. Sandra Pavelka was humbled and honored to be the recipient of the eminent 2024 APEX Women in Business Award by the Greater Ft. Myers Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Pavelka was recognized for her career excellence, commitment to leadership and mentoring of others as well as her professionalism, community involvement, and philanthropy. The awards gala was held on July 25, 2024 at the Caloosa Convention Center in Ft. Myers, Florida.
Dr. Sandra Pavelka and Hannah Reynolds, JD have signed a new book contract with Kendall Hunt Publishing Company for their upcoming book, The Power of Her: Women Shaping Politics and Society. This project is a labor of love, aiming to spotlight the incredible contributions of women in politics, leadership, governance, and societal transformation. Partnering with Hannah Reynolds, whose expertise and passion for intellectual property and law bring invaluable insights, has been an inspiring journey. Dr. Pavelka was nominated for this award by US Representative Greg Steube. This prestigious award honors a professional whose efforts have had a significant impact on local, state, national or international public policy development and implementation that promotes dignity, respect, rights and services for victims of crime. Dr. Pavelka was honored to receive the award during the awards ceremony held on April 26, 2023 during Crime Victims Rights Week in Washington, DC.
